Walzer Melcher Welcomes the
Newest Members to the Team
We are excited to welcome Charles “Chuck” Morris, III as the firm’s newest Associate Attorney. Chuck has lived in Southern California for most of his life and has over 14 years of family law experience, both as an attorney and a legal assistant. Chuck received his Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies with a minor in Art History from Arizona State University. He received his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law, the oldest law school in Orange County, where he earned the Distinguished Public Service honor.

Chuck enjoys music, art, design, and architecture, and cannot wait for museums to open back up. On weekends, he can be found training with his hiking club to hike Half Dome in Yosemite for the second time.
We are excited to welcome Sandy Penaranda as the firm’s new Administrator. Sandy was born and raised in California, but her family is originally from Puerto Rico and has 5 years of Legal Administration experience, as well as over 20 years of paralegal experience. Sandy has a Bachelor in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

Sandy is excited to join WM and be part of a strong dedicated team. When not working, Sandy enjoys traveling, dancing, and spending time with her family.
“I want a divorce.” These 4 words have the ability to change the trajectory of not only your life but also the lives of your children and other dependents as well.

Author Heather Locus, along with contributors Peter M. Walzer, Yasmine S. Mehmet, and Lauren Waddell join forces to offer the reader a perspective on the next steps in the aftermath of that divorce declaration based on their experience in financial analysis and matrimonial law.
