Spring Break message from Mr. DeBose

Dear Students, Spring break is upon us. I encourage you to treat it as a reward. You deserve a fun, relaxing escape from the daily grind. It is a great time for all of us to take a deep breath and prepare for the sprint to the end of the academic year. During the break you will not receive any emails or messages from teachers or coaches. Take this time to enjoy fun activities at home with family. Take advantage of the many virtual tools available to reach out and connect with friends and classmates. This year, however, we encourage all students and staff to refrain from travel as more areas across the country report new cases of COVID-19. Please continue all social distancing practices. We need the entire St. Augustine community safe and healthy in order to finish the year well. As a reminder, we have coronavirus information and resources available at www.StAugNola.org and will update the site regularly. Thank you for staying informed and working to stay healthy — for yourself and our Purple Knight community. Enjoy your Spring Break. Holy Week 2020

For Christians around the world we are approaching the most sacred of times in the Church’s liturgical year, Holy Week. That period of time between Palm Sunday (Passion Sunday) and Easter Sunday, which we as Catholics and other Christian denominations celebrate and reflect on the Triduum, the Passion, Crucifixion, Burial, Death and Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
