Good morning Austin!

We’re excited to share that we’ve introduced a new curriculum aimed at delivering even greater support to the justice-involved individuals we serve.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), an alarming 2 in 5 people who are incarcerated have a history of mental illness, while a SAMHSA report highlights that 96% of women and 89% of men who are incarcerated have experienced traumatic events in their past. At the WORTH Center, we believe that addressing these issues is essential to creating positive, lasting change.

We’re proud to share that 75% of our residents are now receiving high-quality mental health care from our team of licensed professionals through both individual and group counseling. Over the past five years, we’ve also trained five counselors-in-training, who are now serving in mental health roles across Ohio.

Our clinical team is committed to using evidence-based practices to address the underlying mental health and trauma-related behaviors that contribute to justice involvement. This new curriculum is designed to build on that mission and help us better serve our residents, giving them the tools they need to create meaningful change in their lives.

We are always eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals and organizations who share our passion for making a difference Austin. If you have ideas for partnership or simply want to learn more, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can continue to make an impact.

Thank you for your continued support in transforming lives. Let's keep making a difference, one step at a time.
