The GBIG 5P Showcase Expo brings together industry experts and leading innovations in the 5P Industries, converting, and food packaging. Don’t miss your chance to attend or exhibit at the 5P Showcase Expo on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Oneida Casino Hotel in Green Bay.



Register today. The cost is $1,000 to exhibit and $50 to attend. The Expo is open 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with industry experts presenting at 9:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. and a free, onsite networking event from 3:30-5 p.m.

Making the World Safer with Packaging


Laura Bix, PhD, is the Interim Director for the School of Packaging at Michigan State University. She leads the Packaging HUB - Healthcare, Universal Design and Biomechanics. Her interdisciplinary efforts regarding healthcare packaging and ease of use have been recognized by industry experts.


Prof. Bix will present "Making the World Safer with Packaging" at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the 5P Showcase Expo.

Current Trends in Printing & Packaging


Rick Stokes. Vice President – Market Management at Sun Chemical, has been in the packaging industry for 34 years. He has worked in manufacturing, sales, and marketing for a wide range of adhesives, coatings, and inks.


Rick will review the events and trends affecting the printing and packaging industry in his presentation, “Current Trends in the Printing and Packaging Markets” at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the 5P Showcase Expo.

High Speed Printing is HERE!


Kim Barham, Sun Chemicals Business Development Executive, and Steve Howell, Sun Chemicals Advanced Application Specialist, will present “High Speed Printing is HERE!” at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24 at the 5P Showcase Expo. Kim and Steve will share their knowledge gained from 30+ years in the printing industry.

2026 Economic Forecast

First Business Bank will present "2026 Economic Forecast: Expert Insights From Industry Leaders" from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Holidays Pub & Grill in Appleton.


Nancy Johnshoy, CFA, Senior Vice President - Portfolio Manager & Market Strategist, will break down economic data. A panel of leaders from Northeast Wisconsin will speak. Seating is limited, and registration is required.

Industry Tour

Women in the 5P are organizing an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Green Bay Packaging, a leader in innovative, sustainable packaging solutions. The tour is at 1p.m Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 1601 N. Quincy St., Green Bay. This event is limited to the first 10 registrants, so register today.


Women in the 5P Industries (Wi5P) empowers women to excel at every stage of their paper and packaging-related careers.

AI in Action

Small business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs looking to use AI confidently are encouraged to attend AI in Action for Small Business Owners. The online event, presented by the Green Bay Packers Mentor Protégé Program, is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22.


Attendees will learn how to translate content for bilingual customers, summarize Excel data, create SOPs and flow diagrams, and brainstorm new product ideas.

Breakfast Briefing

Amundsen Davis will present a complimentary webcast in its Breakfast Briefing Series: Reasonable Accommodations in the Workplace.


The webcast begins at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21. It will focus on evaluating accommodation requests, managing the interactive process, and addressing employee and supervisor questions.



The Breakfast Briefing Series takes place at 8:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of every month.
