A Stronger Future, Together: New Frontiers Public Schools Announces Bold New Partnership
Strategic Collaboration with School of Science and Technology Will Expand Opportunities and Deepen Impact
San Antonio, TX — July 16, 2025 — New Frontiers Public Schools (NFPS) is proud to share an important milestone in our mission to serve students and families: we are entering into a Strategic Shared Service Agreement with the School of Science and Technology (SST), a respected charter network known across Texas for academic excellence and student-centered leadership.
This partnership is more than a new chapter—it is a leap forward.
It represents our unwavering commitment to every student and every family that calls New Frontiers home. In joining forces with SST, we are ensuring that our schools are not just sustained, but strengthened. We are building something lasting—something better.
“This decision is about our future,” said Alfredo Segura Jr., CEO/Superintendent of New Frontiers Public Schools. “It’s about giving our scholars more—more resources, more opportunities, more support—while staying true to the spirit that defines NFPS.”
Our schools will continue to operate under the New Frontiers name and mission. What’s evolving is our ability to meet the needs of our students in powerful new ways. Through this partnership, we’ll tap into expanded tools, proven systems, and shared expertise that will accelerate the growth and impact of New Frontiers. The collaboration will also provide additional grade levels of Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 5th grade to Greg A. Garcia ECI.
We know change can bring questions. But please know this: every step we are taking is rooted in love for our students, pride in our community, and a deep belief in what’s possible when we lead with vision and courage.
We are not stepping back—we are stepping up.
Together with SST, we’re embracing a future full of possibility, and we’re grateful to each of you for being part of this journey. Thank you for trusting us with your children, your support, and your belief in the promise of public education.
We look forward to walking forward—stronger, together.
