A Successful First Week of School!

The first week of school was all that we planned for. To be specific, the first few days were exciting, and filled with anticipation, every student was fed and accounted for, buses were out picking up students, we had an 'all hands-on deck' approach, and together...TEAMWORK made the first few days successful. Thank you to all the parents that pre-registered their scholars. Your efforts allowed for the beginning of the school year to be geared toward teaching and learning. THANK YOU!

Transportation has been great! Drivers were ready early for our babies. They operated buses without any issues. Our buses arrived safely to and from our designations, and our drivers worked together to ensure that our students were safe, and they arrived home safely.

Our theme, this year, is 'Excelling Beyond Barriers.' Our goal is to educate our children and ensure they have the tools to be successful. It's about the kids.

As parents get their children adjusted to the new school year, parents should be reminded that there is construction occurring on each campus. Therefore, please adhere to the safety barriers and safety protocols on each campus.

Further, parents who use the carline are encouraged to remain in their cars, loud music should not be played, adhere to carline expectations, and be patient while students are dismissing and boarding. It's all about safety for the staff and students.

More importantly, parents are encouraged to remain in constant contact with their child's teachers, ensure that students are completing all assignments, and ensure that their child is attending school daily.

Last but not least, parents can help students adjust and have a great year by checking their bookbags to ensure that inappropriate items are not in their bookbags, monitoring the time that students are on social media, and ensuring that their child reads daily. Let's continue to work together to keep Jasper County School District, Student-Centered...Future-Focused.

THANK YOU! Fill the Bus Campaign

A special thank you to Hardeeville Mayor Harry Williams, his wife Beth, Chris Chase, the City of Hardeeville Parks and Recreation, all of the volunteers, and the Piggly Wiggly in Ridgeland for the outpouring of support via school supplies that were given to both Hardeeville and Ridgeland campuses. There was a mountain of supplies. Before school began, a team of city workers dropped off a mountain of school supplies that will help fill the gaps where they are needed in the classrooms. The support has grown tremendously every year. Jasper County School District wants the volunteers to know that their support matters and is making a definite impact!
