Mission Renovate & Restore – Combating Veteran Homelessness in New Hampshire
|
Would you like to make an impact on the lives of homeless and at-risk veterans here in New Hampshire? Liberty House (a program of Catholic Charities NH) launched
Mission Renovate & Restore, a special campaign raising funds to nearly triple the capacity of the program’s sober transitional living housing in Manchester and open its doors to more veteran populations, including disabled and retired veterans. Thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous donor, the first $250,000 in donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar between now and July 30!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues – and the burdens faced by many of our NH neighbors intensify – Catholic Charities NH is here to be a source of support, healing and hope for those who need it most during this difficult time. Since the crisis began:
- 831 NH residents have reached out to us for assistance around access to food, housing, transportation, energy and other essential needs.
- 635 teletherapy sessions have been conducted by our Mental Health Counseling Services program for individuals facing increased stress, anxiety or difficulties adjusting to major life changes due to the pandemic.
- 25,260 pounds of food have been distributed to homebound seniors across Greater Manchester and Greater Nashua through The CareGivers program, in addition to 822 reassurance and check-in calls to help them avoid feelings of isolation and maintain valuable connections to others.

NH Gives Campaign Raises $21,000+ for Our Place Program
|
A huge thanks to those who supported our NH Gives campaign in June! Together, we raised $21,445 to provide basic life essentials – such as diapers, wipes and formula – for newborns and infants whose parents are enrolled in the Our Place pregnancy and parenting program. That was more than 4x our goal of $5,000 – and 3x the amount we raised last year. We truly appreciate your support!
