PPP Loan Forgiveness Guidance

A portion of the PPP Loan is forgivable but forgiveness is not automatic! Once you receive funds you have eight weeks to spend the cash on allowable and eligible expenses. Then you’ll need to apply for the forgiveness to the issuing bank. What do you need to ensure that your loan will be forgiven? Eligible expenses are limited to payroll, mortgage interest, rent and utilities. Ask more questions of your CPA or if you don’t have a CPA to consult...Use the Kentucky Society of CPA’s FIND A CPA tool to find CPA’s in your industry. You can also reach out to SBA resource partners like the Small Business Development Center, SCORE, Women's Business Center or Veterans Business Outreach Center.

Governor Andy Beshear invites all Kentuckians to make a tax deductible donation to the Team Kentucky Fund. This fund provides assistance to Kentuckians who have been severely financially impacted by the COVID-19 emergency. The Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Public Protection Cabinet oversees the Team Kentucky Fund .
