TALK has been offering summer virtual classes, via its board members, to middle school girls in this unique partnership with TechGirlz and LCCC in Louisville.

August 13 & 14, 4 PM to 5 PM

In this workshop students will explore free technologies available to examine genes and visualize a family tree! Students will learn how to use online tools to create a family tree (Progeny), learn how to search a set of medical symptoms to find the genetic cause (OMIM), and search the human genome for genetic changes that can cause medical symptoms (Human Genome Browser).
Kentucky Pitch Competitions

NEW: KY270 investments will be made by funding partners Bluegrass Venture Fund IV (BGVFIV) operated by Bluegrass Angels (BGA), the Kentucky Enterprise Fund (KEF) at Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation (KSTC), KY Innovation at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, and Commonwealth Seed Capital (CSC). Technology startup companies from across KY are eligible to apply.
The KY270 Pitch Competition is now active. Total of $270,000 in investments in early-stage KY startups. Applications are open now. Join Launch Blue Office Hours to discuss.
