A Teen Inspired, A Baby Saved!

Meet Our New Youth Team

Dear Benjamin,

While at our Pulse Leadership Institute youth retreat, I heard an amazing story from a 15-year-old student named Joy. She shared that she was able to share her pro-life convictions with her cousin who was contemplating abortion. At the time, her cousin was a teen just like her. Watch her testimony below:

We also know that our current Youth Director for the Acadiana region, Hannah Guilliam, was inspired to pursue pro-life youth advocacy in high school after hearing the story of a woman who had an abortion herself.

High school pro-life education forms lifesavers!

These stories inspire us to keep educating young people about the violence of abortion and its impact on mothers, especially with a new school year just beginning. Already, in 2024, Louisiana Right to Life's Youth Education team has presented to 5,755 students!

We know that, with your help, we can reach even more! Did you know that the majority of teens abandon their pro-life convictions during college? Among friends, on campuses, and especially on social media, they are bombarded by misinformation about abortion.

Our youth team wants to speak to young people and are ready for the task! Please reach out to us and schedule a presentation today. In classrooms, they give dynamic talks on Pro-Life 101, pro-life persuasion, human dignity, medical ethics and much more!

We must stay engaged and do everything we can to reach our youth. Here are a few practical, but easy, ways you can help:

Last, but not least, we are happy to announce that Nicky Orozco has joined our team as the Youth Director for the Southeast region, which encompasses Greater New Orleans. She was born in Puerto Rico, and grew up in New Hampshire before she moved to Louisiana. In 2022, Nicky graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in Social Work. For a Pro-Life Louisiana,

NEW VIDEO: ABORTION ON THE STREETS?

The spread of abortion pills is rampant and out-of-control in Louisiana. We know for certain that minors and abusive men can access them easily and quickly online. While we are thankful every day that Roe vs. Wade is gone, and abortion businesses are closed, we know that the abortion industry has pivoted to new tactics to target abortion-vulnerable women.

They promote the dangerous abortion pill regimen, which starves a baby to death and puts women in danger by coining it as a risk-free, "safer than Tylenol", at-home abortion method. Sadly, abortion pills are being sold to women even past Biden's Food and Drug Administrations 10-week limit, and without oversight of a physician.
