Our Mission

Ignatians West transforms lives by supporting nonprofit agencies that assist people who are poor or marginalized through the service and companionship of mature adults 50+ who are available to share their experience and talent in meaningful part time volunteer positions and reflect on their encounters in the Ignatian tradition.

A message from Fr. Randy Roche, S.J.

Chair, Board of Directors

Ignatians West

Dear partners and friends of Ignatians West,

On the occasion of this year’s Thanksgiving, I want you to know of our deep appreciation for your support and prayers throughout this past year.

I also recall with joy the warm-hearted participation of so many of you in our recent Madonna Della Strada Awards dinner. Thank you to all, whether present on not on November 12. The sharing of your resources makes it financially possible for Ignatians West to provide an Ignatian spirituality home for the volunteers to bring their many years of experience to their placements, and for Ignatians West to provide the service agencies with highly qualified volunteers without charging any fees.

Ignatians West is doing well because our friends and partners keep the income coming in all year.

Since joy is the infallible sign of the Presence of God, and joy always accompanies gratitude, may your joy overflow on Thanksgiving Day.

Randy Roche, S.J.
