FCLNY is participating in #GIVINGTUESDAY. Click here for more information.
December 10th is International Human Rights Day! To commemorate IHRD, FCLNY urges you to email U.S. Deputy Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Jonathan R. Cohen, asking him to stand strong for the rights of all humans, including those in utero. You can reach out to Ambassador Cohen here: E-Mail Ambassador Cohen . The UN continues to wrestle over whether access to abortion should be considered a 'humanitarian right." Abortion violently destroys human life. Abortion is UN-HUMANITARIAN. Abortion should be excluded from UN Humanitarian Resolutions. International Human Rights Day is an opportunity to let our voices be heard. For more detailed information on this issue, please see:  U.S. Expected to Fight Back Against Abortion as a Humanitarian Right

Please follow our Facebook and Instagram for more information regarding IHRD during the upcoming weeks.

When the NYS legislature reconvenes in January of 2019, FCLNY will be there continuing to educate the public and our legislators about the dangers of the Reproductive Health Act (RHA) . The fate of the RHA is still unknown. Though the Democrats have taken control of the NYS Senate (they have 35 of the 63 NYS Senate Seats; they won 8 Republican-held seats) FCLNY will not stop exposing the violence of this bill. It will expand abortion in our State, which already has an abortion rate twice the national average. The RHA essentially allows for late-term abortion 'on-demand' and potentially endangers women's lives, by allowing non-doctors to perform abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy.  While NYS Senate Republicans have historically opposed the RHA, FCLNY is in the process of educating our newly elected Democrat legislators on the dangerous potential impact of the RHA.
