Being Flexible is Critical:
When in a crisis-like situation, being flexible is one of the most important characteristics that we must adopt. The situation changes daily – if not hourly. We can intend on responding one way and will need to adjust. We cannot see all aspects of these challenging times. However, one thing we know for sure – it will change again soon. Then we will need to be flexible and pivot to a new response.
Lesson to Learn:
If I am flexible, I will be better prepared for the changes ahead. Being nimble gives me the greatest chance of succeeding in this rapidly changing environment.
Answer for Me:
I am committed to being flexible. I am committed to not taking myself too seriously. I will need to focus on how I can change to best respond to my circumstances.
Action:
Act as best I can given the situation at hand. It will change – and then I will need to shift again.
Daily Habit:
Start with a plan. Adjust when my original plan no longer works. Being flexible is a daily event for me now.
