A Thought for Today
During this time, I have decided to reach out and try to help others. This is a scary and difficult time for so many. Maybe, with a little kindness, I can offer glimmers of hope, understanding, opportunity, and action. If I can do that, then it will be worth sharing my thoughts.

If you find today’s thought useful, please pass it on to someone you care about. Share your own thoughts and feelings during this crisis. Try to make the world a better place. Doing so may just make you smile, hope, and care a little bit more too.
Flexibility
Being Flexible is Critical: When in a crisis-like situation, being flexible is one of the most important characteristics that we must adopt. The situation changes daily – if not hourly. We can intend on responding one way and will need to adjust. We cannot see all aspects of these challenging times. However, one thing we know for sure – it will change again soon. Then we will need to be flexible and pivot to a new response.

Lesson to Learn: If I am flexible, I will be better prepared for the changes ahead. Being nimble gives me the greatest chance of succeeding in this rapidly changing environment.

Answer for Me: I am committed to being flexible. I am committed to not taking myself too seriously. I will need to focus on how I can change to best respond to my circumstances.

Action: Act as best I can given the situation at hand. It will change – and then I will need to shift again.

Daily Habit: Start with a plan. Adjust when my original plan no longer works. Being flexible is a daily event for me now.
What are your thoughts today? Feel free to share by responding to this email.

Be calm. Stay safe. Carry on.
