Transition Through the Crisis:
Crisis activity cannot last forever. At some point, we all need to find a new normal. Establishing new routines that complement our old routines can give us a sense of stability even in a time of turmoil. Making a conscious effort to find a new balance will help us transition out of crisis. Seeking even small joys and moments of peace can help us overcome our fears. A smile, a laugh, a good cup of coffee can all be sweeter during a time of challenge. We can’t live in crisis mode – we must travel through it.
Lesson to Learn:
Crisis is temporary. The quicker we find our new normal, the quicker we can transition from crisis to a new continuity on our way to resiliency.
