We also encourage you to call (925) 335-8150 with specific questions on what you will need for this day.

We look forward to seeing you!

Mobility LABs
Mobility LABs — is a pioneering, four-year initiative to spur the development of new solutions to sustainably lift families out of poverty, and to promote dynamic leaders who will aim to change the national conversation around social and economic mobility.

Our Local Mobility LABs has been investing in East Contra Costa County (California) in the City of Antioch supporting the Sycamore community lead by the RCF Connects team AnDrea Neal ( Life coach and community engagement coordinator) and member of the Safe Return as well as Estela Nuñez (Mobility LABs Community Engagement Coordinator), and Kacey Kcarterelliott (Mobility LABs Manager).

In September 2019, Robin Hood awarded $125,000 planning grants to each of nine local anchor partners to lead a process to develop solutions that are both data-driven and heart-led. The planning process is expected to yield plans for pilot approaches to address gaps in mobility from poverty. Community-based organizations will receive implementation funding to test and implement the pilot approaches over a 3-year period beginning in late 2020.

Thank you to Mobility LABs for their ongoing work and for standing and supporting our community!
Happy Halloween
With spooky season upon us, nothing is more scarier than getting sick in today's times. This spooky season, we encourage you all to stay safe to keep others safe by using the below guidelines.

May you all have a frightful but safe Halloween!
  • Anyone who is not feeling well should stay home and avoid contact with others

  • Wearing protective masks, not costume masks
  • Masks on costumes are no substitute for well-fitted face masks that cover the mouth and nose. It’s also safer to avoid wearing a costume mask over a protective mask, as it can be dangerous if the costume mask makes it hard to breathe.

  • Taking precautions while trick or treating
  • Many trick-or-treaters are too young for vaccines, so the community must work together to reduce their risk. Protective face coverings, physical distancing and liberal use of hand sanitizers are all healthy choices. Remember your mask when handing out candy!

  • Gathering outdoors, and in smaller groups
  • Indoor gatherings where people from different households mingle are at higher risk - especially if unvaccinated. Consider moving outdoors, and limiting how many visitors.
