Remembering Sister Marylyn O'Connor Sister Marylyn O'Connor went home to her good God on November 15, 2022, after 58 years as a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur. She was a beloved elementary school teacher, working for thirteen years at St. Rose School in Newton, Conn., and then 25 years at the Holy Name School in Chicopee, Mass. Remembering Sister Helen Singleton Sister Helen St. Thomas Singleton passed away on December 7th, 2022.  She taught for many years at elementary schools throughout Massachusetts. She was known for her generosity and selflessness. This year, she celebrated her 75th year as an SNDdeN. Read more about Sister Helen here.

Sister Patty Chappell Serves as Panelist at Catholic University of America for Black Catholic History Month On November 29, 2022, The Center for Cultural Engagement of the Catholic University of America showed the screening of the documentary: "A Place at the Table: African Americans on the Path to Sainthood". This documentary highlights the six African Americans currently on the path to canonization. To complement the stories presented in the film, Sister Patty Chappell, SNDdeN, was asked to be a part of a panel to discuss the themes in the film. Learn more here!
