Rabbi Goldberg will lead, with Paula Wolfson as cantorial soloist.

We thank Tom Philip for chanting the Torah parsha and delivering the d'var Torah at this service.

All children are welcome in the chapel. For those ages three to six, there is also childcare down the hall,  with fun activities, crafts and stories.

A kiddish lunch will follow the service in room 318.

We thank Vered Philip and Ada Neznamov for sponsoring the kiddish this month in honour of their son, Tom Philip, chanting the Torah portion this month.

Academy Award winner,  No Where in Africa, tells the true story of a German Jewish refugee family that moves to a remote farm in Kenya in the 1930s.

This is the last film in the 2018-19 series. Thanks to Terry Maiden again this year for all his hard work, selecting the films, organizing the venue and hosting the screenings.

Morning services on the first Saturday of the month, led by Rabbi Goldberg, begin at 10:30 a.m. at the MNJCC, 3rd floor chapel.  A kiddish always follows the Saturday service in Rm. 318.

Our June service will be our annual Pride Havdallah held on the evening of Saturday, June 15th at the MNJCC.  More information will be available in the next newsletter. 
Shir Libeynu Choir

The Shir Libeynu choir will be getting together on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m.

Anyone who would like to sing is welcome; no previous experience or Hebrew knowledge is required.

2 for Seder is an annual event encouraging those holding a Passover Seder to invite two non-Jewish friends or acquaintances who have never attended one. The event is inspired by the loss of Joyce Feinberg in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. She grew up in Toronto and attended Holy Blossom Temple.

April 22, 2019 is Earth Day-a day to celebrate our beautiful planet, create greater awareness of environmental issues and take action! Toronto's annual spring cleanup will take place on April 26-28. See:
