Tony Bennett's will be missed. His vocal artistry warmed and won the hearts of people the world over. He passed from this world on July 21 at the age of 96.
His wife, Susan Benedetto shared that he had Alzheimer's disease in 2016. He continued to perform despite his illness. His last memorable and poignant performance, entitled "One Last Time" was performed at Radio City Music Hall with Lady Gaga in August of 2021.
His career spanned more than 70 years during which he was devoted to preserving the classic American songbook as written by the Gershwins, Duke Ellington, Rogers and Hammerstein and more.
