Partner Profile: DPR Construction



DPR Construction has been a long-standing and deeply valued partner of Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey. Their team embodies a true spirit of service—supporting our mission through hands-on volunteerism, professional expertise, leadership engagement, and generous funding that directly benefits youth across the state.

DPR volunteers contribute in many meaningful ways. Since 2018, more than 120 DPR team members have participated in renovation and improvement projects at Clubs throughout New Jersey, including Garfield, Clifton, Newark, NWNJ, Union, and beyond—helping create safe, welcoming, and inspiring spaces where young people can learn and grow. This year alone, DPR completed two major construction projects:

• Boys & Girls Club of Pequannock: transformed a storage area into a functional space to better support before- and after-school programs.
• Boys & Girls Club of Wayne: converted one large room into two classrooms to expand capacity and serve more youth.

Beyond facilities work, DPR volunteers also invest their time in youth engagement and career exploration. Last October, team members visited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County to host a Construction Career Day, where hands-on activities introduced 2nd and 3rd-grade students to the many opportunities within the design and construction industry—encouraging them to envision bright futures. In April, DPR staff engaged 5^th and 6^th graders at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County in an educational afternoon exploring various career pathways in construction with a highlight on women in the construction field.

In addition to volunteer service, DPR provides leadership and statewide support to the BGCNJ network. Taylor Casserly of DPR Construction serves on our Corporate Advisory Board, helping guide strategic efforts to strengthen Clubs across New Jersey. The DPR Foundation also supports statewide initiatives and serves as a key partner for the New Jersey Youth of the Year leadership program.

In the last nine years, the DPR Foundation has provided nearly $200,000 in grant funding, strengthening Clubs’ ability to deliver high-quality youth leadership programming. In 2025, they contributed an additional $50,000 in operational support, underscoring their continued commitment to New Jersey’s youth. Through their generosity, expertise, and unwavering commitment, DPR Construction continues to be a true champion for New Jersey’s youth and a trusted partner in building great futures. We are deeply grateful for their partnership, which helps us build brighter futures—one Club, and one child, at a time.
