Greetings!

I hope this email finds you well. The importance of the Image of Divine Mercy cannot be overstated in words because the painting was asked for by Jesus to be given to the world as a fount of His Mercy. This has never happened before.

Jesus also emphasised to St. Faustina the importance of trusting in what He was about to give to the world. This is why he wanted the words 'Jesus I trust in You' to be uttered when you gaze upon it. He has made immense promises to all who honour and venerate His Image of Mercy. Jesus exact words are" I am offering people a vessel to which they are to keep coming for graces". What an extraordinary promise that is.

He explained to St. Faustina that the more graces we ask for, the happier He is, because it shows that we understand His infinite goodness and His great desire to help us always.

One of the greatest examples of this is demonstrated with the story of an Italian man Ugo Festa. This week we are featuring the amazing true story of Ugo, who was miraculously healed in front of the Divine Mercy Image in Trent, Italy.

This inspiring story brings home to us in no uncertain terms the reality, that the Image of Divine Mercy is a living image of Jesus. In Ugo's case this image walked out of the frame laid hands on Ugo and commanded him to rise from his wheelchair and be well. Trust is what it takes. We will probably never fully realise all the good that this image is doing in the world today. So remember when you kneel in front of this Image touch it and say "Jesus I trust in You. Remember also you can touch it mentally, as well as physically.

We hope you are inspired by this article and we thank you for honouring and encouraging our work by reading our newsletter.

May Divine Mercy be your joy in life, your hope in death and your glory in eternity

Thank you & God Bless

A True Story

A Miracle of the Divine Mercy Image

Ugo Festa was born in Vicenza, Italy in 1951. He was struck down at an early age with multiple sclerosis. Gradually his health deteriorated. This led to many other problems in his young life. By the age of 39, he was suffering from multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and epilepsy. Early in 1990, his spine was becoming distorted and he was having seizures daily. He had been continually attending doctors since he first contracted the disease, but they could do nothing for him. He decided there was nothing left to try but prayer.

The Images depict the teachings and miracles of Jesus and we use a quote from the Diary to show how Jesus also thought St. Faustina to trust in Him and that nothing is impossible to Him. The Importance of Trust

Jesus complained to me in these words,

"Distrust on the part of

souls is tearing at My insides.

The distrust of a chosen soul

causes Me even greater pain;

despite My inexhaustible love for them they do not trust Me.

Even My death is not enough for them.

 (Diary 50)

Wisdom

of the

Saints

"Is there anything better on earth than gentleness?

If there were, Jesus Christ would have taught it to us.

But Jesus has given us only

two lessons.

'Learn from me,'

he said, 'for I am meek and

humble of heart."

Saint Francis de Sales

"It is better not to allow anger,

however just and reasonable,

to enter at all, than to admit it

in ever so slight a degree; once admitted, it will not be easily expelled, for, though at

first but a small plant, it will immediately grow

into a large tree"

St. Augustine

"From contemplation of

the Passion the soul will receive a new compassion,

a new love, new consolations,

and consequently, as it were,

a new state of soul,

which seems to be a foreshadow

and share of eternal glory"

Saint Bonaventure

"When we have to reply to anyone

who has insulted us, we should be

careful to do it always with meekness.

A soft answer extinguishes the

fire of wrath.

If we feel ourselves angry, it is better for us to be silent,

because we should speak amiss;

when we become tranquil, we shall see that all our

words were culpable"

St. Liguori

"To change your mind from good to bad is the

height of absurdity.

True goodness changes from evil to righteousness"

Saint Polycarp

"He who has repented

has travelled towards the Lord"

Saint Theopan
