A Veteran's Success
Hello,

My name is Chris and I am a US Army veteran. I was chronically homeless for years, but in August 2018 I reached out to Harbor Homes Veterans FIRST for help. They assigned me a caseworker, and since that moment he has been with me every step of the way.

My caseworker made sure I got into the Veterans' Transitional Housing Program at Dalianis House as soon as a bed was available. In February 2019 he helped me find permanent housing. With increased stability in my home life I was able to secure stable employment. Within only a few months my life turned completely around.

Even though I've graduated the program, my caseworker and I still keep in touch; I know that he is always there for me if I have problems or need advice. I highly recommend Harbor Homes to other veterans who are struggling with homelessness or need help getting back on their feet. If you're a veteran who's down on their luck, I hope you have the same wonderful experience that I have enjoyed.

Sincerely, Chris S.

We at Partnership for Successful Living have long considered ourselves recovery friendly. After all, many of our staff are former clients of the programs they now administer. Governor Sununu's office recently made it official, however, by designating PSL a Recovery Friendly Workplace.

Samantha Lewandowski, a Recovery Friendly Adviser, provided training at both 77 Northeastern Boulevard and 45 High Street campuses in Nashua in support of this designation.
