June 18, 2020

Dear Families,

I am writing to provide an update on fall planning.  This past several weeks, District administration, parents, community partners, and educators have been collaborating on mapping out tentative plans for when we are able to resume school.  The June 2020 survey feedback was extremely helpful. Reports can be accessed here .

I am sharing a 10-minute video message regarding tentative planning for fall 2020, so you are aware of our planning approach and progress made-to-date.

Planning 2020-2021 (June 18, 2020
Update from the Superintendent)

You can expect more detailed communication by mid-July and an announcement of tentative plans by early August. We have also created a 2020-2021 Planning page on our website where we will post all emails we send over the summer as well as updates that pertain to the District. Please reference this link over the summer

In the meantime, please note that the Adventures in Learning Remote Learning Program registration has been extended through June 21.  A course catalog is here . Begin registration here .

While this may not be a typical summer many, I hope it will be a meaningful time for your family. The Winnetka community is resilient, and we trust that we will continue supporting each other through this time. As new information is available to share, the District will be in touch with you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Trisha Kocanda
Superintendent
