In recognition of the 20th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our nation, you are invited to participate in a Virtual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 8th
The Wilmington VA Medical Center is holding a Virtual 9/11 Observance event on Wednesday, September 8th.
 
During the virtual remembrance ceremony - which will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - those who lost their lives on the tragic events of September 11, 2001 will be honored. The event will include guest speakers and clinical staff to connect Veterans with any needed resources.

The 5k and 10k will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 18 at Garfield Parkway and Atlantic Avenue. The half marathon and relay will begin at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 19 at Garfield Parkway and Atlantic Avenue.

DelDOT is advising motorists to slow down through the race area and to be aware of runners/walkers in Bethany Beach and on Route 1 northbound/southbound.

The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 43rd Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival on September 11th
Family Night Out at The Millville Boardwalk is set for September 22nd
The 4th Annual Family Night Out - in collaboration with The Millville Boardwalk - will be held on September 22nd.

This non-traditional event will feature opportunities for networking connections, as well as fun for the whole family. In addition, 20% of proceeds will go toward the Selbyville Public Library.
