Greetings!
Recently I sent out our first virtual art show which included only museum members. This time, I wanted to include more local artists so we did a call for art again.

Also this time, we are including some prices and contact information. A couple of sales were made from the last "show" and we thought this is the right time to help artists sell their work.

Thanks to all who sent us what you are doing "in isolation."
It's so good to stay connected, even if only in cyberspace.

Since it's Mother's Day - I am going to shamelessly show off my own family's art. My daughter, Courtney Jensen, graduated from Hidden Valley High School with Julie Bickle as her art instructor and mentor. She is married to an artist (Scott Jensen) and lives in Bellingham, Washington. Her art is different - she creates micromosaic jewelry (among other things).

These "heirlooms" are created from children's art and can be custom made in different shapes. Prices vary. The one on the lower right is $165. The shapes are Sterling Silver.
I also have a son, Evan, who graduated from North Valley High School and now lives in Medford. AND I have a grand daughter, Halina. Evan and his partner Megan (who is about to receive her doctorate in nursing,) have been busy giving their daughter as many
"art" related experiences as possible.
When he has the time, Evan creates wonderful metal sculptures.

The museum's administrative assistant, Kristen O'Neill has been working from home because she has children. Her "jobs" are multifaceted right now. She is: a kindergarten teacher, a fifth grade teacher, a chef preparing three meals a day (plus snacks), a housekeeper, a gardener, AND she works her "normal" museum job. Oh, and she's an artist!
Her children created art especially for this virtual gallery.
