As the pandemic strips everything down to the essentials, the idea behind Shelburne Farms as a farm-based education center is more important than ever. As regions, neighborhoods, families, and individuals, we may be socially distanced around the world, but we are not alone in our reliance on healthy food, clean water, a sense of community, and the need to give young people opportunities for meaningful learning and personal growth. The pandemic also highlights the value of public access to beautiful places.  Watch a message of hope and gratitude from President Alec Webb.
