CCCAOE would like to welcome Jennifer Patel, Marla Uliana and Debra Mustain
as the new CCCAOE RVPs for their regions.
Jennifer currently serves as the Regional Director, Employer Engagement, Business and Entrepreneurship at Mira Costa College. Jennifer has twenty years of experience in K-14 education in developing curriculum and teaching Business and Entrepreneurship courses, possesses expertise in building pathways from K-12 to community college to university, and shares the vision for the regional and state Workforce and Economic Development efforts. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Business Education and a Master’s in Teaching.
Marla currently serves as the Dean of Career & Workforce Education at Los Angeles Mission
College. With over 20 years in Career & Workforce Education, Marla has extensive experience with program development, implementation, and management at the local, regional and state levels. Marla truly believes that collaboration amongst the
colleges, along with our industry and community partners is key to building successful opportunities for students. Marla holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication and M.A. in Education from CSU Stanislaus.
Debra currently serves as the Dean, Community Partnerships & Workforce Development at Riverside Community College District, Norco College. Debra is a lifelong educator and
is responsible for Regional Strong Workforce programs focused on preparation of an educated and skilled workforce. Debra’s 30-plus years of work in education includes
serving students from middle school through college in a variety of teaching, counseling and administrative leadership positions. Debra holds a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. Her national research study focused on leader behaviors in cross-sector
collaborative partnerships leading to individual, community and regional prosperity.
