  • Search for a topic like Microsoft Excel, learn SQL, or "finance" and the results include the courses.

  • Select Show Edition to see the LinkedIn Learning publication year.

In The Gallery

'Monsters, Flowers and Friends-- recent paintings by C. Damon Carter' is on exhibit in the Lumen Winter Art Gallery through November 28. Carter's paintings include portraits, landscapes, gardens, and groups of friends, lovers, and animals. The 75-year-old West Virginian's canvases make use of radiant color schemes, and employ a highly personal world of distorted figuration and symbolism. 

Teen Scene

On Saturday, November 18, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Tutoring for Teens by Teens kicks off in the YA Study Room. Learn more here. Sessions continue on December 2, 9 and 16


Trivia Tuesday is back on Tuesday, November 21, 4:00 pm! Teens will go up against their peers to see who knows the most about snacks and candy! There will be prizes!


Stop in on Monday, November 20 to make a 3D cellphone stand , and on Wednesday, November 22 to make an origami bracelet.

Get Your Medicare Questions Answered

Medicare open enrollment runs through December 7. Get your Medicare coverage options questions answered at NRPL, on Mondays in November, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm when a bilingual Medicare advisor will be in the BTOP Center for drop in consultations. The next session is Monday, November 20.

High School Equivalency Info Session

On Saturday, November 25, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, a trained instructor will be at NRPL to explain the options available for getting a high school equivalency diploma and prepares adult learners to reach their goals. Referral to local programs, as well as assessment to identify starting points, and free one-to-one tutoring are among the next steps.
