Founder Elijah Darwin's passion for Nerf guns and combat games led to the creation of Carolina Dart Battles in 2017 when he was just 10 years old. Realizing the potential for a unique and exciting venture, the Darwin family decided to make Elijah’s dream a reality by transforming a section of their athletic facility, Core Athletics, into an arena for Nerf Dart Battles.

Cabarrus Arena & Events Center has announced its upcoming event, 🐂 Bull Bash Man Vs. Bull, set to slam into the arena on January 19th and 20th, 2024. This two-day, 3-show, extravaganza promises raw power, courage, and the adrenaline-pumping clash between top-notch SEBA bull riders and formidable bulls.

The Ben Mynatt Children’s Foundation's roots trace back to Rusty Shealy, a Concord native who served as comptroller at Concrete Supply before founding his own company, Southern Concrete. Motivated by a profound desire to make a difference in the lives of children in need, Rusty, who had a disabled daughter, helped establish the foundation alongside the late Ben Mynatt.
