Massachusetts enters  the New Year with hope and optimism for remaining safe and healthy, and for welcoming visitors back to the Commonwealth when the time is right.

Our state initiative, My Local MA, encourages all of us to support local businesses, including farms and restaurants, art galleries and cultural venues, Main Street retailers and family-owned companies. And please, don't forget to #MaskupMA!

Featured Region: Nantucket Island

With holidays behind us, book a January escape to Nantucket and have much of the peaceful island to yourself. Beautifully deserted beaches, wide open, foliage-free conservation trails with views, hearty seaside dinners, plush bed & breakfasts, inns and hotels await. Go off-road to stunningly secluded Coskata Coatue, bundle up for Siasconset's Bluff Walk (more views!), take an island tour, bring your bicycle for a cycling trail ride, take a class, ice skate at the island's rink! Afterward, hit a spa, grab post-holiday deals at shops, boutiques, and galleries before dinner. The solitude, serenity, and beauty will refresh and exhilarate!
