A day marked by remembrance and appreciation; Veterans Day celebrates the millions who have served in America’s military. Here in Delco, we proudly honor our service members with these special events, memorials, and museums on Veterans Day and year-round.




This year, Ridley Creek State Park celebrates a milestone 50th anniversary as a Pennsylvania State Park. Nestled in the heart of the county, it’s one of the best places to experience the great outdoors in Delco. With more than 2,600 acres of woodlands, meadows, hills, and streams, there is something to enjoy visit after visit, season after season.




Restaurateurs — experienced and new — have been busy opening in 2022 and wisely choosing Delco to house their next or new dream. From burger joints to beer halls, coffee shops to a food hall, and a smattering of ethnic specialties, there are so many new restaurants and cafes we’ve put out two blogs: Round 1 and Round 2.




The Brandywine River Museum of Art’s newest exhibition, Fragile Earth: The Naturalist Impulse in Contemporary Art, includes striking works reflecting on the vulnerability of the environment. The Brandywine’s presentation also includes a site-specific installation and a commissioned mural that explores the plants and animals native to the Brandywine Valley. Shop Small Saturday is Saturday, November 26th, but we encourage you to support small businesses in Delaware County every day. Locally owned businesses create jobs, boost the economy, and add vibrance and strength to our neighborhoods. Sites like SHOP SMALL DELCO and the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce showcase the entrepreneurs, shop owners, artists, and other small business owners that make Delco great!
