Dear Fellow Skålleagues,

I am asking for your support and your vote for Skål USA VP Administration. It's hard to realize that I've been a member of this great organization for 25 years. Starting in Skål Toledo where I rose to Vice President in 5 years before transferring to Skål Detroit and ultimately to Skål Northern New Jersey it has been a great, rewarding journey both personally and professionally. A journey available to all Skål Members who wish to take it. It's also a level of volunteerism that has been fun and at the same time challenging. But if you have the time and the desire it's something I highly recommend to all members.

Broaden you Skål horizons! Go to other clubs' meetings! Go to a NASC or World Congress. Your world will change and your eyes will open. In 2003 I originated the first of 15 successful "Friendship Trips" for Skål Northern New Jersey to visit clubs in Europe. To date we have visited over 25 clubs and made countless numbers of new friends and business partners. I recommend this to every club whether it be overseas or within the U.S.

Skål is a fellowship where we are all equals, from the successful owners, presidents and managers to the young professional starting a career in tourism. As a Skålleague you will be welcomed at a Skål club anywhere in the world.

For the past three years I have served on the Skål USA Executive Committee as VP Region 1 and for the past two years as Director of Membership. As most Skålleagues know, my proverbial door is always open, and I readily assist clubs when and where I can. I have organized multi-club events to encourage networking and promoting business among friends. As Social Media Director I have tried to engage, entertain and educate Skål Members through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. These are active, effective communications tools that we use to bring our national and global Skål members closer.

If you choose me to be VP Administration I will work for you to build your organizations, to encourage clear transparent communication and to foster camaraderie, friendship and passion. Passion for travel and passion for the oldest and greatest tourism organization in the world, Skål!
