Aloha!
I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Pam Davis from SKÅL International Hawaii, and I am pleased to be considered for the role of Vice President Public Relations and Communications for the SKÅL USA 2021 elections.
I have been an active member of SKÅL since 2012, but in all actuality, I attended my first meeting when I was only around 12 with my father and I attended my first NASC in 2006 with my mother. Both of my parents were very active members of the club and each served as President. Some of you may remember my father Rick, and many of you are familiar with my mother Valerie, who hasn’t missed a World Congress for over a decade. SKÅL literally runs in the family.
I have been part of Hawaii’s board since I was named the club’s Public Relations Director in 2013 and served in multiple leadership roles since then, including co-chairing NASC in Hawaii last year. I have also served on the SKÅL USA Communications committee. Over the years I’ve attended three NASCs and two World Congresses, offering me an incredible opportunity to meet many of you in person, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work alongside this incredible group of people to help make sure SKÅL’s message is shared.
It’s been an extremely challenging year, and the best way to move forward is together. SKÅL is the epitome of bringing people together, and if I am fortunate enough to be honored with your vote, I look forward to moving forward together with all of you and serving the membership to the best of my abilities as your next VP of Public Relations and Communications.
