Dear friends and neighbors,
It’s been a busy two years fighting for the issues that matter most to Central Florida’s families. For many in Florida and across the country, 2020 has been an incredibly challenging year.
We mourned the loss of over 21,000 Floridians who were taken by the deadly coronavirus. We prayed for the health and safety of our loved ones, neighbors and healthcare workers. We saw business after business forced to close for public safety concerns and suffer the devastating economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through it all, we did our best to step up during this crisis and serve our constituents. Going forward, I will work with the Biden Administration to ensure everyone in Central Florida has access to the COVID-19 vaccine and that our community builds back better than before. We are honored to have served the constituents of Florida's 9th Congressional District during the 116th Congress, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to deliver results for Central Florida As we look forward to a new year, I want to take a moment to update you on the work my office and I have done during the 116th Congress.
Over the course of 116th Congress, my office held 100 town halls and roundtables, attended hundreds of community events, sent thousands of correspondence to constituents, helped over a thousand constituents with casework, secured billions of dollars for Central Florida and passed numerous bills, policy amendments and appropriations requests into law.
