The Children's Playhouse of MD is thrilled to announce

Open Auditions for our Spring Production of

"A Year with Frog and Toad"

Book and Lyrics by Willie Reale

Music by Robert Reale

Based on the Books by Arnold Lobel

Directed by Liz Boyer Hunnicutt

Musical Direction by Charlotte Evans

Choreography by Lauren Stuart

A hit on Broadway, A Year with Frog and Toad was nominated for three Tony Awards – including Best Musical. Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.

Part vaudeville, part make believe... all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.

The jazzy, upbeat score bubbles with melody and wit, making this an inventive, exuberant and enchanting musical.

"The Play That Goes Wrong - High School Edition"

From Mischief, Broadway masters of comedy, comes this smash-hit farce!

Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to, well, utterly disastrous.

This 1920s whodunit has everything you never knew you wanted in a show: an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).

Nevertheless, our accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call with, we hope, hilarious consequences!

Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award-Winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!

Don't miss out, as this stellar cast of young performers lights up the stage with this comedic masterpiece of a murder mystery, play-within-a-play!

Two weekends only!
