Clean water for God's thirsty children

Happy News From Our Friends In Zambia

Recently, we received this message from Fr. Douglas Ogato, who is helping direct the Water With Blessings efforts in Zambia. A few weeks ago we told you about the work he and Sr. Theresa Konsolo are doing. Here is his update:

Great news from Ndola, Zambia! We have just acquired 150 buckets for new Water Women.

In the coming days, we will be empowering close to 150 women with fully-equipped water filters once they complete their training. Sr. Theresa and I are really excited about this progress.

We’re very much grateful to our donors in the Catholic Diocese of Bismarck, and elsewhere in the United States. To you all we say a big THANK YOU, and wish an abundance of God’s blessings.
Time is Running Out to Find Something Special for Mom
KYGivesDay is Only a Week Away – Let’s Make It Rain For God’s Thirsty Children

And you can give now if you’re ready…

Although KYGivesDay is officially May 11, the giving has already begun. Our KYGives Water With Blessings page is ready when you are. Just click on the button below.

This is an annual event that was designed years ago to give native Kentuckians around the world a chance to support charities in their home state. It’s an event filled with fun and inventive incentives to give. But as we’ve told you, you don’t have to live in Kentucky to join in the festivities..
It’s Finally Here – Join Us This Friday For Our Grand Opening Celebration!

We’ve been working in our offices for several weeks now, but the coronavirus kept us from celebrating a Grand Opening when we first moved in.

This Friday, May 7, we will make it official, with a ribbon-cutting, tours of the new offices and warehouse, t-shirt tie-dying, and food and ice cream for sale. Because of the continuing precautions, you will need to reserve a tour. If you would like to see the new space, please contact

Please join us. After the last 12 months, it will feel good to have something to celebrate.
A Prayerful Thank You From All Of Us

A Grand Opening, your response to our Mother’s Day promotion, the interest in KYGivesDay. The tremendous support to those most in need, especially recently in Honduras and Haiti. Unexpected support for our first-ever capital campaign.

We have a lot to be thankful for.

We would like to join Fr. Douglas Ogato (featured above) and express our deep, prayerful gratitude to all of you in our Community for Mission. Your generous hearts for those in need are changing lives every day. And in the coming weeks we will have great news about other opportunities opening up for us in other parts of the world.

If you would like, you can click the button below to join with others and become a monthly sustainer and sponsor two new Water Women each year. And please continue to pass this newsletter along to your friends and family members. Thanks to you, our numbers continue to grow.

May God bless you for your generosity!
Meet Alta, One of Our
Water Women in Haiti
We’ve told you before about the small island of La Gonâve, a few miles away from Port-Au-Prince, Haiti’s capital city. During times of unrest, which seem to be more frequent these days, our country team has worked there in relative safety.

Alta is one of the thousands of Water Women who have been trained and equipped with a bucket and the Sawyer PointONE filter – because of your generous support.

We are less than 1,800 Water Women short of full saturation on the island. When that happens, every one of God’s thirsty children there will be drinking clean water. Thank you!.
On This Week's Coffee Chat: It's Time to Celebrate Our Grand Opening!
It was a little delayed, but it’s finally here. We invite all our Coffee Chatters across the US and around the world to join us this coming Friday, May 7, for our Grand Opening. We will cut the ribbon, dye some shirts, savor some special ice cream – in other words: Celebrate!

And though you may not be here in person, we promise to make you a part of the festivities. So grab your beverage and log in Friday at Noon Eastern Time.

We look forward to having you with us!
We believe every child should be drinking clean water. Are you with us?
