Here's Thea Colman's luscious take on lace knitting captured in a tee called "Reposado" that looks great with jeans or dressy pants. I enjoyed this bottom up knitting design immensely and really should knit another one.
Here's what Thea says about "Reposado" --
It’s all about a beautiful stockinette fabric and what this delicate lace adds to it. Reposado is a boxy tee silhouette, with subtle A-line shaping and a slight cap sleeve. The lace is the star, giving the sides some detail and swing and creating a beautiful, fluttery edging at the armholes. Ribbing at front and back adds to the scalloped hem and gives a bit of finish to the textures. A rolled neckline and the slightly rustic fabric keep the vibe casual and summery.
I'm of the opinion that you can never go wrong with a touch of lace in a knitting design. The pattern is written for US #6 needles.
