Hi,
Our next Cross-Atlantic Quarantine Session welcomes
Zarifa Adiba

Doing things "not for girls" and therefore often considered a rebel in Kabul, Zarifa's journey from Afghanistan to studying in Kyrgyzstan has been has been met with obstacles and empowerment. Zarifa
made her debut on the international stage when she conducted the first all-female orchestra of Afghanistan at the closing ceremony of the World Economic Forum in 2017. Join us on Monday as the 21-year-old activist, musician, composer, violist and TEDx speaker
shares her compelling story and how she's helping other girls and women realize their self-worth.

She has ties in Connecticut as a graduate of The Hartt School, and as previous orchestra director at the Loomis Chaffee School.
Please feel free to share the registration link with a friend. Bring your questions for Zarifa – a young woman who has already shown tremendous leadership through unimaginable circumstances at a young age, and will surely be one of the great peace-builders and activists of tomorrow.
