To know Betty Angell is to love her—as has been our good fortune at Burgess Advertising since she joined us in October of 2000, after her 22 years at the Roger Williams agency. We made it official with a party in her honor earlier this month at DiMillo’s. But while these photos show us all smiling, it was a bittersweet farewell.

Yes, we're happy Betty's escaping the world of spreadsheets and media buys, to concentrate on her family, her friends—and, of course, Fred, her dog. But we'll miss working with the finest media buyer north of Boston.

Leigh Miller, an astute and experienced Digital & Media Director, is fully prepared to assume Betty’s responsibilities for digital and traditional media planning and buying. (After all, they've had a full year to work together and ensure a seamless transition.) But no one can replace Betty’s laugh and smile.
