What do you do after you're the
Ringmaster
at the
Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus?
We'll hear the back story from the back lot of the Greatest Show on Earth. The circus train will reveal its secrets and you'll hear how the clowns and show girls lived in a very few square feet of space. What does it feel like when the lights come up at center ring and you're the focus of thousands? Did the world's first public quadruple somersault make it into the Guinness Book of records? There's Dinny at the lower right of the pic pumping his fist to celebrate the event!
Dinny McGuire has led many performance lives. He has been a choir director, music teacher on the Alaskan tundra, TV talk show host and sit-com warm-up guy. Dinny has spent the last quarter of a century as ringmaster for circuses around the world including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and most recently, New York City's
Big Apple Circus.
Circus secrets revealed! How much does the Ringmaster's coat weigh? How much space did a clown really need? Why did the show have to follow the music cues and did the Ringmaster really control the show? Can tigers aim their urine from 15 feet and hit a bullseye? Who was the bullseye? let's find out!
We'll lift the lid on what transpires backstage as performers enter the center ring and hit their mark!
The center ring carries with it a promise to entertain and amaze and through the years Dinny has kept that promise to audiences around the world. We promise a conversation that will give you a new insight into the world of every child's dreams, the world famous RBB&B circus!
