A few updates and an Invitation

Greetings!

Here are a few quick updates from Across Nations! We would also want to invite you to our 85th anniversary!

We are so thankful fro YOU! Praying - encouraging - keeping us going - and being our family!

This past week we were very involved in the Navajo Nation Fair - the largest gathering of Native American People in North America -which takes place in Window Rock. We broadcast from the fair- helped promote a Matthew West Concert, hosted a gathering for Christians, and even had a breakfast fundraiser for Hilltop.

Hilltop Christian School is off to a great start this year * the construction on the new studio moves forward, albeit at a slow pace. We were honored to have several wonderful volunteers and work teams here this summer, all making our mission possible to equip Native American people to exalt Jesus - encounter His Goodness, and is extending His Kingdom Across Nations!

You are invited to our 85th anniversary celebration!

Eyes wide open ... to the Harvest!

As we reflect on our 85 years of ministry history, we can't help but think it's harvest time. John 4 mentions that we must look! It's harvest time. We are renewing our commitment to follow Jesus - and keep our "eyes wide open - to the Harvest!"

October 1st we are having a Harvest Festival!

Saturday Oct 4, 1937 The first board of directors, staff, and friends dedicated the Window Rock property as a place for Great Commission Ministry- beginning as the Navajo Bible School and Mission.

Oct 1, 2022 8AM- Noon

The day will start with a turkey shoot - come join us for this fundraiser - and get to know some of the other sportsmen in our community!

Come and see the progress on our new (not yet finished) Media Center! We are nearing completion of the much needed facility which will be home to our radio network of radio stations, including a new station we are in the process of incorporating into our broadcast network! We hope to have a Grand Opening / dedication this spring!

Radio Share-athon noon-5

Our "voice of hope" radio network will build feature live Navajo Music, testimonies and challenge listeners to join the fun - and help purchase a new radio station in Navajo Mountain and finish the new studio! Come join us!

Saturday evening 5:30!

After a traditional dinner of stew and frybread, join us for powerful evening session as we introduce our staff, board, a word about our future challenges, worship, testimonies and special music, and our keynote speaker, a partner and friend: Dr. Don Bartlette.

Noon-4 Join us for a "back roads" Tour of the old Fort Defiance (Navajo Long Walk) and the historic start of Across Nations - see the Window Rock, Navajo Museum, the original Blacks Trading Post, and see the future home of the new Code Talkers Museum. Meet some interesting people along the way.

Saturday afternoon - Noon - 4 join us for a hay ride,. pumpkin sale- and meet some of our Hilltop Christian School teachers, parents and students.

This is a monumental goal, but much needed to finish the radio studio and equipment, purchase a new radio station: KPGX - and some funds for Hilltop School and a new playground!
