The March 2018 CEF Conference theme was, “For Such a Time as This.” We focused on the leadership changes this year in the Texas District and the Texas Church Extension Fund … “For Such a Time as This” another change is taking place this month.

After serving 30 years as the Texas CEF Director of Marketing and Training, I will be retiring April 30th. It has been a grand adventure serving in this ministry. Now, I am looking forward to serving our Lord in a different way....
Hail and farewell from Becca Jones

Greetings new friends,

It’s a unique and exciting time for Church Extension Fund, indeed. What an honor to serve in a place with such a ministry-minded leadership legacy. It’s a privilege to recognize one of those individuals—Bill Siegrist.

For such a time as this, we turn to great leaders for inspiration ....
You are part of a proud history
We're bidding a fond farewell this month to Bill Siegrist, who began serving the Church Extension Fund in 1988. It's an interesting moment to reflect on CEF's history, because it was established exactly 100 years before Bill started his ministry here.

A District Convention resolution in 1888 created the Church Extension Fund to provide loans to congregations. Since then, CEF has provided consultation and low cost funding for Texas congregations to build and expand.

Today, more than 11,500 investors like you make the Texas District Church Extension Fund possible. With more than $180 million in assets today, CEF is presently assisting 130 congregations throughout Texas with loans to help expand the Kingdom.
Current CEF Building Projects
A great crew of volunteers turned out last month to help move in at The Family of Faith's new preschool at Miramesa! It was cold, rainy and windy but things are looking bright for the June opening!
Later this month, St. Mark, Houston , is hosting a barbecue honoring long-time members Met & Mary Mountford and working toward the Keep the Promise campaign. The event will include tours of the new building.Funds raised will support the building campaign including naming the Mountford Music Studio.Visit  to learn more!
You came for the rate. Now stay for the ministry!
