Community Financial Literacy with CSN

Plus Credit Union partnered with the College of Southern Nevada for financial literacy events at the Cheyenne campus featuring the interactive game “Thrive & Survive: Race to $1,000.”

Students teamed up to navigate real-life money choices while racing to build an emergency fund. Stephanie and Kelly from Plus Credit Union helped lead the session, guiding students through budgeting decisions and sharing tips to make saving more achievable. Laughter and learning filled the room as students debated spending priorities, adjusted their budgets, and celebrated wins along the way. The interactive format brought personal finance to life, showing that good financial habits don’t just happen, they’re built one smart decision at a time.
