Her teammates also appreciate the positive attitude she brings while balancing multiple responsibilities and helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

Helping Teens Build Smart Credit Habits

As teens become more independent, talk with them about credit, budgeting, and protecting personal information.

Encourage them to create a budget, track spending, and build credit through responsible financial habits. Explain that children under 18 generally shouldn’t have a credit report. If one exists, it could indicate identity theft.

Teens should also learn to review reports for errors and protect information such as their Social Security number and account details.

Starting these conversations early can help teens build a strong financial future.

Stronger Together: Community Connections Across Southern Nevada

It’s been another busy month for Plus Credit Union!

Our team participated in Pack the Mack, helping local students prepare for the new school year with backpacks, school supplies, and other resources.

We also attended the Latin Chamber of Commerce’s La Oportunidad Expo, connecting with local families, businesses, and community organizations.

And congratulations to our Member Appreciation Day winners, Graciela, Jonathan and Vincent! We hope you both enjoy your prizes!
