Fish and Game reminds hunters of grizzly range

While grizzly bears are most commonly observed in the north in the Cabinet and Selkirk mountain ranges and in the east in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, they can be encountered in much of the Panhandle and Upper Snake regions.

Empowering Parents grant contractor may have collected interest off taxpayer funds

The State Board of Education is still getting to the bottom of the Empowering Parents grant program, intended to help families offset educational costs. The latest revelation is that the state-hired contractor overseeing the online marketplace has been “holding taxpayer funds in an interest-bearing account and retaining those interest earnings.”
