Dear CRMS Families,

Recent reports have indicated that a traveler who spent time in Aspen (and has already returned to their home country) has tested positive for COVID-19. Some of the people this individual interacted with are also showing symptoms, but additional positive tests have not been confirmed.

Given the uncertainties around this rapidly changing situation, we are going to suspend programming that takes us to the Aspen ski areas. That means that we will be staying on campus on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons this week, with an active program akin to dryland training. This change in our programming is being done out of an abundance of caution.

Students and faculty will gather at the end of lunch tomorrow (Tuesday, 12:30) in the Bar Fork. Groups will hear from our program leaders about how we will be spending Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Day students: Please be sure to come to school with appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor, field-related activities.

If your student is a competitive skier and still needs to go to Aspen for training purposes, please have them contact Mark Clark .

As always, please feel free to reach out directly to me with any questions. We will continue to update you as the situation evolves.

My best,

Head of School
