Hello PRISMA,

It's hard to believe, but only six days remain of the 2023 PRISMA Festival & Academy. Here's a quick overview of our upcoming Week 2 events, as well as a few photo highlights from Week 1.

A Musical Adventure

Festival Box Office Hours

A reminder that our administration and box office remains at Powell River Recreation Complex – Upper Concourse, Theatre Level (5001 Joyce Ave.) for the duration of the 2023 PRISMA Festival. Our main office in Town Centre Mall will be closed during this time. Box office hours are as follows:

Sunday, June 18 – Closed

Monday, June 19 – 12:30 to 4:30 pm

Tuesday, June 20 – 2 to 7:30 pm

Wednesday, June 21 – 2 to 5 pm

Thursday, June 22 – 2 to 7:30 pm

Meet our 2023 Concerto Competition Finalists

Evan Pyne (CAN) and Maya Kilburn (USA) are our 2023 Concerto Competition Finalists. Don't miss their final-round performances with the PRISMA Festival Orchestra and student conductors Michael Djabrov (USA) and Isaac Hayward (USA/Australia) on June 23 & 24.

Evan will be playing:

Violin Concerto, Op. 47 (I. Allegro moderato) by Jean Sibelius

Maya will be playing:

Violin Concerto No. 2, BB. 117 (I. Allegro non troppo) by Béla Bartók

Our Student Ensemble in Residence has captured the hearts of this year's PRISMA Festival audience. Featuring Zuzanna Budzyńska (violin), Szymon Ogryzek (piano) and 2022 PRISMA Concerto Competition runner-up Jadwiga Roguska (cello), the Cuore Piano Trio has two more performances:
