HGP's Vision for 2013:
pogonip draft plan
Garden Site Plan from Draft Pogonip Master Plan
HGP has worked with City of Santa Cruz for many years  to develop plans and secure approvals for a permanent home at Pogonip.
This figure illustrates a site plan for a garden/farm below the clubhouse,
 (please see photo below) with
2 areas designated  for row crops, orchards, greenhouses, perennials and herb plots and support facilities.
We anticipate bringing a final operations and management plan to City Council in 2013 for approval.
Developing a permanent home will necessarily require broad community support
--please join us in this exciting endeavor!

Donate by December 31 and double your impact!

Give a tax-deductible gift that creates dignity, well-being and hope.

If you donate by December 31, 2012, your gift will be doubled! Our partners at Soif and La Posta Restaurant have offered to match all donations made by December 31 to Homeless Garden Project (up to $15,000).

And if you're a new donor, receive a second match! A generous donor has made a challenge grant--if we receive $10,000 from new donors, we'll receive a $5,000 grant.

Thank you for partnering with us.

Thank you for supporting the Homeless Garden Project--we can't do this without you.

Please help us spread the word about our work by forwarding this email to your friends. I love hearing from you--please contact me if you'd like more information or to pass on a thought.
