It was just yesterday...

As a child, I listened to my grandfather's stories and looked at his photographs as if they belonged to a distant era, a world far removed from my own. Yet now, when I look back through the lens of my own life, my childhood, the milestones, and even the opening of Le Petit Gourmet twenty-one years ago, they all feel like they happened only yesterday. Perhaps the greatest surprise of aging is discovering that while time moves relentlessly forward on the calendar, it hardly moves at all in our hearts. One day, my grandchildren may look at pictures of my life the same way I once looked at my grandfather's, seeing history where I still see yesterday, proving that time is not only measured in years, but in perspective.

The coronation of Queen Elizabeth II took place on June 2, 1953, at Westminster Abbey in London, today King Charles the Third is visiting us, so much history.

We know it will be challenging on the road again today, but we want to ensure you know that we are here for you with a succulent lunch. See you shortly. POI
