Dear TA Families,

By now some of you may have seen that the State Health Officer and the Governor have extended an Executive Order that was originally set to expire on April 6th. The new extension requires private schools to remain closed until April 17th. Please be aware that this Executive Order does not close our school for the remainder of the year. The Executive Order will be reviewed on or before April 17th, and could potentially be lifted or extended again. Due to the current extension, Tuscaloosa Academy will remain closed for all in-person classes. We will continue our current remote learning plan until at least April 17th. Once the Executive Order is reviewed I will send out updated communication on our remote learning plan. In addition, the AISA has extended its postponement of all spring athletics until April 17th as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Bryan Oliver, Ph.D.
Head of School
Tuscaloosa Academy
