Dear JA Staff Alumni Network colleagues,
We are living in trying times. This is a time for all of us to be patient and flexible.
I am writing to let you know that the July 2020 NLC has been canceled. Therefore, we will not be holding our annual meeting this summer. This is a wise decision on the part of JA USA, and I applaud them for giving us plenty of notice.
I know that some of you are holding these dates on your calendar and may be considering travel arrangements. I hope this notice gives you time to adjust your plans.
Of course, we will miss the warmth and comradery of our annual in-person gathering. We are exploring hosting a virtual Annual meeting in July, and we will give you plenty of advanced notice.
We will continue to keep you updated through our newsletters. As we learn more about how the pandemic is affecting JA USA, we will include that information in our newsletters as well.
